What criteria do you take into consideration when evaluating a student for admissions?
The required high school course selection, rigor of courses, extracurricular activities, personal essay, GPA and SAT and or ACT scores
What advanced placement test can I get credit?
AP Exams you take in high school and receive a score of three or higher
What type of student organizations do you have?
We have over 50 social, fraternal, academic and service groups on campus.
Do I have to take a foreign language to be accepted?
No, but highly recommended
When can I visit and tour the campus?
Campus visits may be scheduled Monday through Friday and by appointment on Saturdays, with the exception of major holidays.
How may I transfer to Claflin University?
By sending official college transcripts from all colleges attended to the Office of Admissions for evaluation. You must also be in good academic standing from last institution attended. If transferring in less than 30 credit hours, you must submit an official high school transcript that includes final GPA, rank in graduating class and SAT or ACT score(s). The final 30 credit hours must be completed at Claflin University.

No

We have a 12:1 student to teacher ratio
