Intercollegiate athletics have a long and proud tradition at Claflin. Men's and women's intercollegiate teams known respectively as the Panthers and Lady Panthers are competing at the NCAA Division II level, an affiliate of the SIAC, Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
