How to obtain a Claflin e-mail account
The Information Technology Department offers every student a computer user account and a Claflin e-mail account. The username and password that is provided to you is used to log onto the campus computers, e-mail and Blackboard. To obtain an account, please stop by the IT department in the James S. Thomas Science building (JST) room 128. You will be provided with a username and password within minutes. The username and password provided to you is for your use only. Please do not share your information with anyone else. If you encounter any problems with your user account or suspect that someone is using your account, please feel free to stop by our office or give us a call.

- At the Outlook Web Access page, type your username and password then click OK. (Shown below) If a second screen comes up, just click Ok to proceed.

Claflin University Employee E-mail
The university offers two ways for its employees to check their Claflin e-mail. You can access your e-mail through the Claflin website or by using Microsoft Outlook. To use Microsoft Outlook, you need to be logged on to your office computer. We would prefer that you not use Microsoft Outlook on another users system. Access your e-mail via the website from off campus or whenever Microsoft Outlook is not functioning to it fullest capacity.
How to change your password
You may change your password at anytime by logging onto a campus computer and pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL, then choosing “Change Password” from the menu. View the password guidelines for more information.
