Upward Bound Program Phase

Student must be enrolled in the following target high schools:

Orangeburg Wilkinson
Lake Marion
Bethune-Bowman
Branchville High
Hunter-Kinard Tyler
Edisto
Elloree
North

Student must come from a family in which neither parent has completed a four year college degree (first generation college student)

Student's family income must meet federal guidelines

Students must be U.S. citizens

Students must have a demonstrated need for the program services, in order to successfully complete a program of education beyond high school

Students must have completed the ninth grade (rising sophomore) but not the eleventh grade (rising senior)
