RESPONSIBILITIES: The School of Education invites applications for a nine-month tenure-track faculty position in the area of Education. The responsibilities for this position include teaching effectively; providing sound academic advisement; conducting socially significant research; and pursuing external funding. He/she will provide service to the University, profession, community and maximize opportunities to initiate growth in and secure grant funding.
SALARY: Salary and rank commensurate with qualifications and experience.
QUALIFICATIONS: An earned doctorate in literacy/reading, early childhood, elementary education, curriculum and instruction, or related field is required. Candidates should possess a minimum of three years of teaching experience; college level teaching experience is preferred. Evidence of research and grant writing skills and knowledge of current K-12 educational practices are desired.
