​Dr. Kodilinye O. Igwe

Dr. Igwe is an accomplished artist in wood sculpture. With his symbol making propensity, he builds works of sculpture, and transforms wood into unique, recognizable, African traditional forms.

Biography

Dr. Igwe is involved in the interdisciplinary aspects of art as a vehicle to facilitate the cultural and interconnectedness between the fine arts and the humanities. He is an accomplished artist in wood sculpture. With his symbol making propensity, he builds works of sculpture, and transforms wood into unique, recognizable, African traditional forms. As a process for exploration, into African cultural motifs (symbols), he also designs fabrics bases on decorative elements.
