​Rev. Kevyn Amos

Serving as the University Chaplain, Rev. Amos has the honor to preach, teach, and reach students where they are and impact their lives. His philosophy is from the words of Mahatma Gandhi, “Be the change that you want to see in the world.”


Rev. Amos is an Ordained Elder out of the Missouri Annual Conference currently serving as the Chaplain and Religion Instructor. Amos served as a pastor for more than 14 years in the Missouri Conference of the United Methodist Church and served as the sole pastor at St. Andrew United Methodist Church for the last 9 years in Missouri. He has a passion for service and mission with the belief that everyone has a story to change someone’s life.

Amos is a 1997 graduate of Claflin University with degrees in both American Studies and Religion and Philosophy, and received a Master of Divinity degree from Saint Paul School of Theology, Kansas City, Missouri in May 2006.
