The Orangeburg Office of Emergency Services has advised that no winter weather is forecasted for Orangeburg/Calhoun Counties. Temperatures will begin to drop to freezing around 7 p.m. The low temperature will be 21 degrees. Please exercise caution while driving.

Welcome to the Department of Humanities! We are thrilled to share with you the exciting opportunities that are available in our Department.

The Department of Humanities offers majors and minors in History, African/African American Studies, Philosophy and Religion, and Spanish. With over 12 full time faculty members, adjuncts, and numerous students, the Department of Humanities is one of the most engaging Departments on campus.

Students in the Department of Humanities often go on to pursue graduate degrees and become leaders in the fields of law, historical research, non-profit and governmental service industries, and international programs.
