The Center for Professional and Continuing Studies administers two degree-completion programs, one in partnership with the School of Business and the other in partnership with the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. The two degree options are:
- Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management
- Bachelor of Arts in Sociology/Criminal Justice Administration
Organizational Management Accredited through the Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs, this area of study consists of courses in Business English and Communication, Business Statistics, Business Research, Organizational Theory and Behavior, Adult Development and Life Assessment, Managerial Accounting, Business Finance, Principles of Management, Marketing Management, Sociology of Social Problems, Business Law, Business Policy, Personal Values and Organizational Ethics, and Human Resource Management.
Students completing all of the requirements for Organizational Management will earn a Bachelor of Science degree. This degree will qualify students for jobs in, but not limited to, business analytics, marketing and retail management.
Sociology/Criminal Justice Administration This area of study consists of courses in Introduction to Administration of Justice, Comparative Criminal Justice System, Criminology, Social Psychology, Criminal Investigation, Criminal Procedure, Correctional Systems, Management Principles, Intervention Design and Analysis Using Statistics, Supervision Leadership, Community Policing, Ethics and the Administration of Justice, Advanced Level Practicum and Issues in Diversity.
Students completing all of the requirements for Sociology/Criminal Justice Administration will earn a Bachelor of Arts degree. This degree will qualify students for jobs in, but not limited to, crime scene investigation, treatment and rehabilitation, and court administration.
