Mr. Allister Frankle
Biography
Saxophonist Allister Frankle is a Doctor of Musical Arts Candidate at the University of South Carolina. He holds degrees from Western Carolina University (BM ’21) and the University of Mississippi (MM ’23) where he served as the Saxophone and Instrumental Area Graduate Assistant. In 2022, he was the winner of the LOU Symphony Orchestra Concerto Competition. Allister Frankle currently serves as adjunct professor of saxophone at SC State University, Claflin University, and Columbia College where he teaches saxophone lessons and music appreciation. He also serves as a Graduate Assistant at the University of South Carolina where he teaches “Intro to Film Music.”
