CAEP Annual Reporting Measures

CAEP (Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation) has eight annual reporting measures, which are used to provide information to the public on program outcome and program impact. Following is the list of the CAEP measures with links to data tables that provide supporting evidence for each measure.

    Teacher of the Year

    Jacob Gilliard, '17
    , who was named teacher of the year at Savannah Grove Elementary in Florence, S.C. He has served at Savannah Grove for the past three years as the fourth grade mathematics and science teacher.  While at Claflin, Gilliard was a member of the " Call Me Mister" Program. He is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He believes that the key to any successful classroom starts with creating a positive and respectful learning environment. Gilliard is a recipient of the Camp Hype Foundation "Leader Beyond  the Wall" Award (2019), as well as the Call Me Mister Visionary Leader Award (2019).
