Want to learn how to splice a gene? Biotechnology is one of the fastest growing fields in the world. It provides breakthrough technologies to combat disease, create new drugs, increase the worlds food supply, reduce our negative impacts on the environment and make industrial processes safer and cleaner.

As a biotechnology major, your schedule will include the following classes.

General Biology; Calculus; General Chemistry

Sophomore

Botany; Organic Chemistry I & II; College Physics I & II; Genetics

Junior

Cell Biology; Intro to Immunology; Biochemistry; Molecular Biology; Microbiology

Senior

Bioinformatics; Advanced Microbiology; Senior Seminar
