Allen G. Britt Endowed Scholarship Fund

As an alumnus of Claflin University and desiring to assist young people in their efforts to acquire a higher education in a Christian environment, I have established the Allen G. Britt Endowed Scholarship Fund at Claflin University in the amount of $25,000.
I solicit your support in this worthy endeavor. Your contribution can be made online or in person via check or credit card. Please make your check payable to Claflin University. All donations are appreciated and are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
The Financial Aid Office of the University will select first-time freshmen recipients who are graduates from Dorchester County and are pursuing a career in history, sociology, politics and/or justice studies and have taken the initiative to officially enroll into Claflin University.

Steward Twins Memorial Scholarship Fund
Greetings Family and Friends:
Holiday Blessings! I, Vandria Steward, a former student of Claflin University’s Summer Science Enrichment Training Program in Math and Science (SSETP), desiring to assist young people in their efforts to acquire a higher education in a Christian environment have established a scholarship, the Steward Twins Memorial Scholarship Fund at Claflin University, in memory of my nephew Blair Steward.
This scholarship, in the amount of $5,000, is co-sponsored by all of the twins in my immediate family- Vandria and Andria Steward, my twin sister, and our twin nieces and nephews, Delando Jr. and De’Leon Steward and Blake and Blair Steward (posthumously) children of Yojuana Steward and Delando Steward.
The Financial Aid Office of Claflin University will select twin recipients who have taken the initiative to officially enroll at Claflin University for the 2016-2017 academic year. Two need-based scholarships will be awarded for books, tuition and/or fees. If the funds raised exceed expectations before the award year, then funds will be distributed and split so that recipients may receive the scholarships the 2017-2018 year.
