Faculty/Staff In-Service

During the week of March 16-20, Claflin University will host Faculty/Staff In-Service where employees will receive additional training on eLearning support systems and administrative office support programs. See below for Faculty/Instructor Track and Staff Track and descriptions, locations and times for training sessions.  

Attendance is mandatory. Dress code is business casual.


FACULTY/Instructor IN-SERVICE TRACK

Workshops for Claflin University faculty/instructors will cover four main areas: Moodle Basics, Virtual Learning Tools, Assignment & Assessment and Troubleshooting. Faculty can also choose areas from the Staff In-Service Track (see below)

Faculty/instructors are only required to register/attend at least one session per topic. In light of practicing social distancing, we are only allowing approximately 20 participants per session. Please click the presentation title below to register. 

Note: 
Faculty/instructors, please bring your syllabus, two weeks’ worth of digital teaching materials (word or .pdf documents, slides, audio, video, assignments, discussion topics etc.) to the workshop sessions (face-to-face and virtual).
