HBCU Division II Classic Schedule Updated
Threat of inclement weather forces schedule changes
 
ORANGEBURG, SC - The Claflin University softball team will play host to some of the best teams from NCAA Division II historically black colleges & universities (HBCUs). However, due to the threat of inclement weather, changes have been made for the upcoming weekend.
 
Originally, the NCAA Division II HBCU Classic was scheduled to be a three-day event that featured several teams from teams from the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA), the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC), and current independent HBCU schools in NCAA Division II. However, due to the threat of inclement weather, the games that were originally scheduled for Friday, February 17, 2023 have been cancelled. The schedule changes also forced further schedule changes that needed to be made as well.

Tickets for the NCAA Division II HBCU Classic are $8.00 for adults. Fans wishing to attend both days may also purchase a $20 wristband. Children 10 and under are free.
