Lamar native Keion Mack has just recently opened his styling business “Keionstyling” and has gained many clients, including the South Carolina State University Royal Court.

Keion is a junior at Claflin University and also runs his business. “I definitely love that I have my own business, but I must say it is very challenging,” Mack said.

The passion Keion has for fashion and the love he wants everyone to feel when putting on clothes are what led him to start his own styling business.

 “I first started styling my friends then they pushed me to start my own styling business,” Mack said. They saw the passion and drive he has for styling.

The day in the life of Keion the stylist is he wakes up with messages from potential clients or current clients with questions, he then tends to their needs and creates new content to build his  clientele, “Then I get myself dressed then off to in person styling with a client or on set styling.”

Mack said, “I work hard in a day, but it all pays off after seeing the end result of my work.”

Keion knows that fashion trends change 24/7 so he must stay on his toes.

“It’s my job to keep with it and implement it with my clients.” Mack said.
