Kiersten Hargett is a senior business administration major at Claflin University.
Some things she is involved in around campus are Phi Beta Lambda Business Fraternity Inc. and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Kiersten’s biggest struggle is being a part of The Alice Carson Tisdale Honors College.
“Being in honors college is the struggle! It gives me headaches at times because they expect so much out of us. You also have extra papers and presentations to do on top of your classes. People also criticize you because they think that you are a nerd and one of the smartest people on campus.”
Kiersten Hargett loves Claflin University. She excels in pretty much everything she does. During her matriculation, Kiersten has maintained over a 3.0 GPA, her GPA after all four years is a 3.9.
Kiersten has won many awards, such as highest GPA in the School of Business, annual business proposal competition and senior superlatives.
Her advice to all the rising seniors is to handle all of your business early and enjoy your senior year.
