Claflin Appoints Joslyn DiPasalegne Major Gifts Officer

Claflin University announces that Joslyn DiPasalegne has been appointed major gifts officer in the Division of Institutional Advancement.
DiPasalegne recently served as the director of major and planned giving/events and special programs for the Division of Institutional Advancement at South Carolina State University.
She also worked at the Chicago Theological Seminary as a major gifts officer and events coordinator.

Ms. DiPasalegne join our fundraising team,” said the Rev. Whittaker V. Middleton, vice president for Institutional Advancement.
“Her primary responsibility will be to cultivate and solicit individual gifts of $50,000 or more for the University.”
DiPasalegne’s professional experiences include a successful career in corporate sales, advertising, media relations, special events, and marketing. She led fundraising activities and planned events for the Chicago Defender’s Centennial Celebration including the Public Television documentary, “Paper Trail: 100 Years of the Chicago Defender.”
DiPasalegne has supported community outreach as a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Alpha Gamma Pi Sorority, Top Ladies of Distinction, the Museum of Science and Industry of Chicago and Rotary International.
DiPasalegne earned her bachelor’s degree in communications from the National College of Education.
