Claflin University to Host South Carolina Band Directors Association and Region Four Band Clinic

More than 500 student musicians and members of the South Carolina Band Directors Association will visit Claflin University February 24-25 for the Region Four Band Clinic.
In January, approximately 2000 student musicians auditioned for the 2017 Region Four Honor Band. Both middle school and high school students auditioned for the opportunity to perform in one of four bands: senior band; clinic band, junior symphonic band and junior concert band. Students selected for the Region Four Honor Band will rehearse on Friday (February 24) and perform in concert on Saturday (February 25) at 3 p.m. in the W.V. Middleton Auditorium. Admission is free and the public is invited.
