South Carolina African American Heritage Commission Honors President Henry N. Tisdale

President Henry N. Tisdale was recognized on Thursday, April 4, by the S.C. House of Representatives during the S.C. African American Heritage Commission's 25th Anniversary Luncheon in Columbia, S.C. Dr. Eric Emerson, the sixth director of the South Carolina Department of Archives and History and State Historic Preservation Officer, presented Dr. Tisdale with the motion in honor of his retirement and dedicated service to South Carolina and Claflin University. The Claflin University Concert Choir, under the direction of Dr. Jason Dungee, also performed at the luncheon.
