Aug 31, 2019
The University’s Emergency Preparedness Team is currently monitoring the path of Hurricane Dorian, which could affect the South Carolina coastland and surrounding areas. If necessary, the team will implement the University’s Inclement Weather Protocol and alert the campus of a plan of action to address safety concerns.
You are encouraged to periodically visit the University’s website, where updates will be posted regarding the possible suspension of classes or University closing. Updates also will be posted through Panther Alerts (text messages), email and Claflin’s official social media outlets (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter).
