The Claflin University Gospel Choir, formally known as D.R.E.A.M., is participating in The Collegiate Gathering on November 1-2, at Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in North Charleston, S.C. In its fifth year, this concert series features musical selections by college and university gospel choirs as well as breakout sessions and an acoustic café.
The breakout sessions will include topics on stress management, leadership, liturgical dance, and personal development. The "Acoustic Café" is a time of fellowship for students to enjoy entertainment provided by their peers while dining together for lunch.
Other returning university choirs include Charleston Southern University, Clemson University, Coastal Carolina University, College of Charleston, Columbia College, Francis Marion University, Furman University, Lander University, South Carolina State University, University of South Carolina (Columbia), University of South Carolina Upstate, Winthrop University, and Wofford University.
