Claflin to Host 19th Annual Conference on Contemporary English and Language Arts Pedagogy

Claflin University will host its 19th annual Conference on Contemporary English and Language Arts Pedagogy in Secondary and Postsecondary Institutions on October 28-29, 2020. This year’s theme is “Reading and Writing Across the Curriculum: Digital Literacies, Equity and Access.” Due to the pandemic, sessions this year will be held virtually. Click here to register.
 
Speakers for the two-day conference include Dr. Eric J. Paulson, associate dean of The Graduate College and professor in the College of Education at Texas State University and Dr. Robbie Melton, associate vice president for the SMART Global Technology Innovation Center and graduate dean and tenured professor at Tennessee State University. The two-day conference is sponsored by the Claflin University Department of English and Foreign Languages. Pedagogy is the study and process of teaching.
