On Friday, August 5, Claflin University hosted the grand opening/ribbon cutting/open house of The Villas at Claflin (2005 Magnolia Street). The Villas at Claflin are rental units for faculty and staff at Claflin - a great addition to the Orangeburg community. The renovation of these units began in November 2021 and was completed in July 2022.
The Villas at Claflin comprise nine apartment units. Each apartment has two bedrooms, one full/and one-half bathroom,a microwave, refrigerator, oven, and washer/dryer. Other amenities include free internet and a security alarm. The Villas at Claflin expands affordable housing opportunities for University faculty and staff in Orangeburg.
